Recommended Torque: 30 in. lbs.

1 Intermediate exposure sizes are available in .005" increments as well as extended hub design for blades thicker than .125". See Technical Section, pg. 4. for blade exposure guidelines.

Chart below indicates maximum exposure for each flange series:
Flange part number prefix Maximum blade exposure
4.3BA 500
4.5BA 550
4.6BA 400
4.6HBA 400

Caution: 4.6" O.D. x 3.5" I.D. blades and related flanges are being sold that have redused flange hub and blade I.D. diameters with as little as a few thousandths of an inch from the established standard of 3.500". This is virtually undetectable by the end user. This may result in the end user's existing blade stock having an I.D. too small to fit onto the flange or the blade. Thermocarbon believes in standardization to avoid the problems this may create, however, we may have to produce these blades and flanges in the near future in order to continue our commitment to providing the customer with an alternative sourse for these products. Meanwhile, always question the I.D. dimensions of blades and O.D. dimentions of the mounting hub of flanges prior to purchase.
